Kappa Delta Eta Nu was founded on March 28th, 2009 at Sacred Heart University. Our chapter continues to strive for excellence on SHU's campus as well as in National Kappa Delta. As a chapter we are dedicated to our two national philanthropies, Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA) and Girl Scouts of the USA. We raise money for PCAA each March through our ShamROCK the Runway event and work with local girl scout troops at least twice a semester! Kappa Delta is also active in the Confidence Coalition, which is committed to building confidence in girls and women in our own sorority and beyond. We also participate in two international events, International Girls Day and International Women's Friendship Month, which encourage girls and women to celebrate one another! You can always find a KD in the library and excelling in their classes, which to our high GPA year after year. We are also committed to having our sisters be involved in not only Kappa Delta but in other clubs and organizations on campus. KD's at Sacred Heart always strive for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest.
